Our Adoption Process

The adoption process is a carefully structured procedure designed to ensure both you and the dog have a successful, long-lasting match. We take great care in guiding you through each step, with the ultimate goal of finding the perfect home for our rescue dogs and ensuring a smooth transition for both the dog and their new family.

First, the process begins with filling out an adoption application. This form helps us gather important information about your lifestyle, preferences, and experience with pets. Once we receive your application, we review it thoroughly to ensure the dog you’re interested in is a good fit for your home, lifestyle, and needs. If your application passes the initial screening, we’ll move forward with the next steps.

Second, a first phone interview. During this conversation, we’ll go over your application in more detail, discuss the specific dog you're interested in, and address any questions or concerns you might have. We’ll also provide information about the dog’s background, personality, and any medical or behavioral needs. This is an important opportunity for us to get to know you better and to ensure that you’re fully prepared for the responsibilities of adopting a rescue dog.

Third, we will schedule a home check. This step helps us ensure that your living environment is safe and suitable for the dog you wish to adopt. We want to be certain that the dog will have enough space, a safe environment, and the proper resources they need to thrive in your care. This check is not meant to be intrusive but is part of our commitment to ensuring the welfare of the dogs in our care.

If all steps are completed successfully, we will move forward with adoption approval. At this point, you’ll be ready to bring your new furry friend home! We’ll provide you with the support and resources needed to help your new dog adjust to their new environment, and we’re always available to offer advice and guidance as needed.

Throughout this process, we prioritize transparency, open communication, and the well-being of our rescue dogs. We are here to ensure that both you and your new companion have a smooth and successful adoption experience, filled with love, trust, and a new chapter in your lives.

Our Adoption Fee

Our adoption fee is $500, plus an entry fee of approximately $190. This fee covers all necessary vaccinations (DHPPL, Kennel Cough, Coronavirus, Influenza, and Rabies), as well as the flight fare and a travel crate with a water bowl and other essentials. These costs ensure your new companion arrives safely, healthy, and ready to start their new life with you.
