Nugget spent seven months in a high-kill shelter and was unfortunately diagnosed as heartworm positive.

We rescued him urgently and ensured he received the treatment he needed. Today, Nugget is healthy, happy, and thriving!

He has excellent manners during baths and teeth brushing, and he walks very nicely on a leash. Nugget gets along wonderfully with other dogs, including small dogs, and enjoys making new canine friends.

He loves both men and women and is also great with children. Friendly, affectionate, and easygoing, Nugget is always ready to share his big smile and loving heart with everyone he meets.

He is not a picky eater and has no known allergies.

Nugget prefers going potty outdoors and is currently being reinforced for potty habits during his daily walks.

He enjoys relaxing on a soft cushion or resting comfortably in his crate after a day of fun and adventure.

Nugget would thrive in a home with other dogs or with an active family that enjoys sharing new experiences, outdoor activities, and adventures together.
