Rescued from a high-kill shelter in 2022, Moana quickly made a lasting impression with her warm and affectionate nature. It didn’t take long for everyone to realize she was truly special. Her gentle spirit and loving heart instantly won over the volunteers—especially when she followed them everywhere like a little shadow, greeting everyone (even strangers!) with affection.

Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with other dogs too. She has a nurturing, welcoming nature and is often the first to greet new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel comfortable and safe. While she gets along well with most dogs, she prefers calmer companions over those with high energy.

She loves being around people and will happily follow volunteers around, soaking up attention, asking for pets, and playfully inviting tug-of-war matches. Her affectionate and easygoing personality makes her a joy to be around.
